In pasture, c. 35m S of early ecclesiastical enclosure (13881). No visible surface trace of well which according to local information, was filled in during reclamation in 1984. Situated on a gentle NE-facing slope overlooking a stream to the NE. An unenclosed spring; according to the OS Letters (O’Flanagan 1928, 50-51) a pattern was formerly held here.
