Isaac Butler recorded a holy well dedicated to a Saint Kiarnan outside the graveyard at SW in 1744 (Deane 1922, 106), which explains why this angle is excluded from the graveyard itself. High Cross located in Kildare.

Surrounded by corbelled structure, but now neglected and overgrown with weeds. Jackson states the well was filled in in the nineteenth century, so the surround may be more recent.
