Situated on the N side of a stream at the foot of a steep bank. Rough oval hollow (dims. 2m x 1.5m) defined on three sides by loose stones and small boulders. The hollow is now dry. The OS Letters (O’Flanagan 1928, 69) mention the tradition of tying rags
