Following a description of ‘Brae-ag-ogue’ well (KK012-059004-), Carrigan (1905, vol. 2, 372) describes another well, ‘”Lady Well”‘, which, ‘is about half a mile away, on the slope of Shragh hill, but the tradition of its having ever been holy, is lost’.
