KILCOMMOCK GLEBE Holy Well
In an area of outcropping rock, c. 100m to the W of Kilcommock Church (LF022-032—-). In 1837 O’Donovan recorded that ‘The holy well of the parish is called Cloghree, which is ‘the stone of the king’ in English’ (OSL, 79). Described in 1976 (SMR file)
