(during the reign of Henry III), attributed to the Geraldine family; Observant Franciscan Friars reformed 1486; dissolved 1539-40; granted to Paul Turner and James Devereux 1544; occupied by Thomas Browne and Paul Turnor [Turner] 1548; destroyed by the Protestants 1560; abandoned until new house established 1615 (see immediately below)
